School of Languages in Switzerland (SLS) is affiliated to the Ardevaz School, a prestigious school founded 28 years ago, which offers an academic program to almost 200 students. The reputation that the school has is demonstrated by the excellent results the students obtain in official examinations.

STUDY AND SPORT

A football school (organised by FC Sion, a football team of European Standards, also works with the Ardevaz School. This center welcomes young people from all over the world. They follow an intensive football training program, as well as French courses which permit them to consider further studies at University.

Selection of the teaching staff (almost 30) is one of the strong points of the Ardevaz group. All teachers are specialists in their field and are very dependable, experienced and loyal, most of them have been working for more than 10 years at this school.

Our school has at its disposial teachers who teach in their mother tongue and who take their students' progress very seriously. Their professionalism permits them to quickly detect any weaknesses or difficulties your may have. They use teaching methods which respond to your needs. Due to their enthusiasm and dynamism you feel encouraged to express yourself in French and participate actively.

SLS CERTIFICATE

The ultimate goal in the continuation of the program is that you should achieve an aptitude which allows you to communicate easily in French.

At the final stage, you will receive a Certificate from SLS which gives you a complete description of the level of language proficiency you have acquired. This certificate specifies the overall level of competence in oral and written comprehension and communication.

DIPLOMAS

If you participate in a course of long duration, you will eventually have the opportunity of preparing for official French Diplomas or Certificates. (Diploma for Study of the French Language DELF/DALF, or Certificate of Study from the Alliance Franaise).

In addition SLS offers the opportunity to all students to prepare for TOEIC (Test of English in Communication). This official certificate issued by the Chamber of Commerce is internationally widely recognised.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

The school fees are paid in advance at the time of enrolment. The travel costs are not included in this price.

At the beginning of the course, you must pay book, duplication or photocopying fees which amount to Sfr. 100 per student.
